Morgan, P. J.


P.J. Morgan is a businessman and politician in Omaha, Nebraska. He founded a real estate firm, the P.J. Morgan Company, in 1967, and lead that organization until 1986, when he sold it in order to focus on his political career. In Nebraska politics, he has served as a state senator (1970s), Douglas County Commissioner (1970s), University of Nebraska Medical Center Board of Governors (1980s), Omaha Airport Authority (1980s), and mayor of Omaha (elected in 1989, served until 1996). After his term as mayor ended, he reestablished P.J. Morgan Real Estate, which he still leads as of 2015.
