Glidden, George Wayne


G. Wayne Glidden was a professor in the University of Nebraska at Omaha's College of Education. Glidden and his family lived in Afghanistan in 1974-1977 while he worked at Kabul University. His research interests included Afghan teacher education and work in Pakistan with Afghan refugees in the 1980s. Glidden died in 1988 while overseas on a research trip.

The collection includes correspondence, Glidden's notes, presentations, writing, and monthly reports he prepared and contributed to for the USAID team. Glidden worked at Kabul University in the 1970s and worked on issues related to education for Afghan refugees in the 1980s.
