The Center for Afghanistan Studies is part of International Studies and Programs at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. It was founded in 1972 and continues to operate today, studying a broad spectrum of topics related to Afghanistan and its people. The center also engages in numerous partnerships with educational institutions and other organizations in Afghanistan.
