University of Nebraska at Omaha. Center for Urban Education
The Center for Urban Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha was founded in 1968 by Floyd Waterman, professor of education. The center collaborated with Omaha community groups and offered tutoring to inner-city students. In 1980, the Center for Urban Education merged into the Center for Applied Urban Research.
