Scope and Contents My Sister’s Smile was a joint photo exhibit curated in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Herat, Afghanistan, in honor of International Women’s Day in 2016. The exhibit contains photographs taken by women in each city, which were then paired together. Included are enlarged copies of each photograph mounted for display, mounted copies of the exhibit introduction, exhibition press release and prospectus, and contact sheet showing the photograph pairs.
