The Henry Cox Collection includes: two photocopies of a lengthy biographical work, "The Life and Career of Henry Cox," author unknown; news clippings about Cox; and the Omaha Musicians Directory, 1914-1915, and a booklet about violins from the library of Henry Cox. The connection between Henry Cox and music programs from 1913 and an explanatory letter dated 1943 is unclear. The collection also includes two unidentified black and white photographs of an orchestra.
The collection comprises the professional files of Jacqueline St. John from her years of service as a faculty member in the Department of History at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, from 1968 until 1996. Each publication in this collection includes a chapter or article authored by Thorson or another faculty member from the Department of Gerontology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The John T. Langan Papers hold material accumulated by John Langan during his career at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (1969-2008). The collection includes brochures, booklets, and correspondence for projects, material related to Langan's service on UNo Chancellor John Christensen's inauguration committee, and a campaign poster for Democrat Gene Freund's 1988 congressional bid.
The collection holds the correspondence files of U.S. Senator Robert B. Howell from his tenure in Congress and date from approximately 1922 through 1933. The files are organized alphabetically with only the letters A, R, and S represented in the folder headings. The folders contain many sheets directing the user to another heading. These see also sheets were produced by the creator of the files. The Howell chaired the Committee on Claims from 1927 to 1933.

Runyon's tenure as Director (1978-1999) and Dean (1999-2001) of the Criss Library (then called the University Library) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
