Richard Flynn Information Science and Technology Collection
The Richard Flynn Information Science and Technology Collection contains the papers of Dr. Richard Flynn regarding the 1995 creation of a College of Information Science and Technology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with documents covering the period from about 1994 until about 1997. The collection includes academic plans, business plans, organizational frameworks, meeting minutes, correspondence, progress checks, reports, surveys, requirements, guidelines, notes, faculty information, program descriptions, facilities information, building plans, program statements, fund raising information, budgets, committees and task forces, curriculum plans, interviews, legislative information, information from the Omaha business community, newspaper articles, presentations, and proposals.

The collection is open for research use. Manuscript collections and archival records may contain materials with sensitive or confidential information that is protected under federal or state right to privacy laws and regulations, the Nebraska Public Records Statutes (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 84-712 through 84-712.09), and other relevant regulations. Confidential material may include, but is not limited to, educational, medical, and personnel records.
