Reflections in Time, 1979 - 2007
Reflections in Time is a series of 125 interviews produced from 1979 to 2007 with former UNO staff, faculty, and administrators. Of the 125 interviews in this series, the first 73 programs were produced by UNO Professor of Communication Paul Borge and the final 52 were produced by UNO Dean of Arts & Sciences Jack Newton.
An online collection including a biographical sketch of the interviewee, summary of the interview, and link to the streaming version of the video interview was begun in 2015 and is available at https://unomaha.omeka.net/exhibits/show/reflections-in-time. Curating the Reflections in Time online exhibit began in August 2015 and will continue as resources permit until thorough and informative pages are completed for each UNO interviewee. Donor support for the library can ensure that robust information is available for the public about each interviewee more quickly. To support this initiative, contact Director of Archives & Special Collections Amy Schindler at 402-554-6046 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Oral history is one of many sources available to consult as part of your research. It reflects the experience of an individual and shares personal opinions offered by the interviewee in response to questioning. Additional sources can verify and provide additional information to the narrative of events presented in oral histories. Contact UNO Libraries' Archives & Special Collections to continue your research, find additional sources, or learn more.
