Clarence Gene Sage was a student at the Municipal University of Omaha, class of 1956. He was on the University of Omaha football team in 1955, the year OU won the Tangerine Bowl.

Scope and Contents The Clarence (Gene) Sage Collection includes photographs, news clippings, souvenir programs, books, ephemera, and artifacts related to football at the University of Omaha, circa 1952-1956. Much of the material relates to the Tangerine Bowl victory on January 1, 1955, including a scrapbook featuring the game on the cover and a commemorative wristwatch and belt buckle presented to OU football players following the victorious season.
