Chen, Bing


Bing Chen has been a professor of engineering at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln (UNL) since 1967. He served as interim chair of the Department of Computer and Electronics Engineering (CEEN) from 1997 until 2004, and chair from 2004 until 2012. He, along with the rest of the faculty of the Peter Kiewit Institute, is based on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), and he is often regarded as UNO faculty. He has been strongly associated with UNO since at least 1971. He has been the director of the Passive Solar Research Group since 1978.
