The Board of Regents supervises the general operations and budget expenditures of the University of Nebraska System, including the University of Nebraska--Lincoln, University of Nebraska at Omaha, University of Nebraska at Kearney, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The Board of Regents includes eight voting members elected by the populace of Nebraska; four non-voting student regents, who are always the student presidents of the four campuses; and one corporation secretary.
