The Alpha Xi Delta national sorority was established at the Municipal University of Omaha in 1950. Its predecessor was a local OU sorority Phi Delta Psi.

Scope and Contents Paddle includes the following texted painted on in gold, blue, and white: "1953 / Jeanine / Alpha / Xi / Delta / Marilyn." Two flowers are also painted on the paddle.

The collection includes Alpha Xi Delta brcohures, posters, and other publicity material.
