“The UNO Student Agency of Gender & Sexual Orientation (GSO) – a student-funded and operated agency working with the UNO community – educates, advocates, and preserves the rights and concerns of those identifying as lesbian, gay bisexual, transgender, intersexed, questioning, allied (LGBTIQA) and heterosexual. Additionally, GSO disburses print materials, assists students, faculty, staff, administration, agents, and visitors, as well as provides comprehensive services and programming to the community at large in the interest of full and inclusive representation of this population.” From GSO brochure, circa 2014.
In April 2016, the Gender and Sexual Orientation (GSO) student agency was renamed to the Queer and Trans Services (QTS) student agency.

    Scope and Contents The UNO Artifact Collection includes objects related to the University of Nebraska at Omaha and its predecessor the University of Omaha, from circa 1908 to the present.
