Henningson Memorial Campanile (Omaha, Neb.)

The Henningson Memorial Campanile is the bell tower which stands at the center of the University of Nebraska at Omaha Dodge Street campus. Funding was donated by Margre Henningson Durham. The tower was completed and dedicated in 1989.

The UNO Henningson Memorial Campanile Photograph Exhibit Collection comprises 52 photographs taken by Les Valentine, University Archivist, documenting the construction of the Henningson Memorial Campanile (commonly referred to as the bell tower) on the University of Nebraska at Omaha Dodge Street campus. The photographs were all taken from the roof of the University Library (now the Criss Library). The first photograph is dated 1987 and depicts the site prior to the start of construction. ...
