The 2010-2011 academic year was the inaugural year for the Freshman Leadership Council. The FLC was created as a way for incoming UNO freshmen to get acclimated to Student Government and leadership, while preparing for the Student Government elections which take place in the Spring semester of each school year. This group has no size limit, but has been composed of 14-16 members for the past two years.

Scope and Contents

The Freshman Leadership Council Welcome Card is a giant greeting card. The front of the card reads "Welcome 2011 Freshman" with the Univeristy of Nebraska at Omaha logo and mascot, and a background collage of images of the unviersity. The inside of the card contains the printed text, "You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where ...
